Hello my name is Kurtis Pierce. I run the Walnut Creek office of House Calls. In 1981 Debbie Laughlin, founder of House Calls Inc. Pet Sitting & Home Services, after frequently having the dilemma of finding care for my pets and home while she was away decided to start a professional pet sitting service. We truly understand the concerns that pet and home owners face when trusting someone else to provide care for their home and pet. House Calls has a knowledgeable and trustworthy team of pet sitters with a deep love and reverence for animals. House Calls customers receive a personal pet sitter who remains the same with each request.
Meet the Business Owner: Kurtis P.
Hi. My name is Kurtis Pierce. Growing up with animals of all types has given me a rapport with most animals. They feel comfortable with me. Many dog and cat owners are surprised when their pet who doesn't care for strangers comes right up to me and has an instant connection.
After college, my wife and I moved to the Bay Area and started our family. We found House Calls when we needed a sitter for our pets. I had no idea the industry existed before this time. I soon realized this would be the perfect business for a stay at home father who loves animals. A year later, after working as a contractor for Debbie in the San Ramon office I took over the Walnut Creek office of House Calls. That was 5 years ago.
