Hope For The Warriors and the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) 9th Annual Run For The Warriors, sponsored by ASA, will take place Sunday, October 14, in San Francisco, featuring a 5K, and 1-Mile Walk/Run. All races are adaptive equipment and stroller friendly.
All proceeds benefit Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family, and hope to service members, their families, and families of the fallen.
The race coincides with ANESTHESIOLOGY® 2018, the ASA’s annual meeting, taking place in San Francisco. Many ASA physician anesthesiologist members will participate in the run.
Run For The Warriors is a race series open to civilians and military members, that honors the men and women wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and celebrates their strength and resolve. The series also provides wounded service members encouragement and the opportunity to pursue the sport of running, walking or adaptive cycling to assist in physical and emotional rehabilitation.
