Honor - Kitchen & Cocktails in Emeryville, California will host an $85.00 five-course prix fixe dinner menu paired with rare wines and unique cocktails on Tuesday, May 6 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Only 12 seats are available and tickets can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/honors-perfect-pairings-tickets-11325249125.
The evening's menu will include an amuse bouche of Grilled Agave Prawn with crispy head paired with an aperitif; a first course of Scallop Tuxedos, day boat scallops with Yukon Gold potato, black truffle, baby spinach, puff pastry, and charred pineapple beurre blanc paired with Rudi Pichler ’10 Gruner Vetliner Smaragd; a main course of Squab Duet with oven roasted legs, pan seared breast, pommes purée and soufflé, green pea coulis, glazed baby carrots, caramelized oranges, and Pinot Noir wine sauce paired with Dumol Pinot Noir ’10 Russian River; a dessert of Muscat Poached Pears with almond cake, Muscat cream, and crème anglaise with a Tinton ’07 Szamorodni Edes (tokaj dessert wine); and to conclude, Chef’s Mignardise.
