Homestead Restaurant in Oakland, California's Piedmont Avenue neighborhood will be hosting a Crab Feed on Wednesday, November 27 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
This prix fixe family style supper is designed for those who love crab and don't want to cook the day before Thanksgiving. The cost will be $38.00 per person with drinks available a la carte. The price excludes tax and gratuity. The restaurant's regular menu will not served that night.
The Crab Feed menu will include grilled Dungeness crab in the shell (half per guest, with a second half available at a supplemental price of $20.00), winter greens salad, roasted potatoes and Firebrand Artisan Bread, all with lots of drawn butter, lemon, and sauces, plus pear sorbet with gingersnaps for dessert. Among the beverages will be sodas, ice tea, bottled sparkling or still water, beers and wine.
