Homemade Pasta Cooking Class with Parties That Cook - April 08, 2016

Do you love fresh pasta? If you’ve dreamed of making pasta by hand this hands-on class was designed for you! Join Parties That Cook in our North Beach kitchen in San Francisco (what’s more Italian than being in North Beach?) where you’ll learn how to prepare four different pastas with sauces from scratch. Our spring menu will give you the opportunity to roll and fill Ravioli with Sweet Peas, Ricotta, Chervil and Lemon Cream Sauce, then cut egg Fettuccine ribbons and make a Tomato Herb Sauce with Fennel Sausage and Goat Cheese. The menu also features decadent Vegetarian Mushroom Lasagna with classic Béchamel sauce. We’ll also prepare Ricotta Gnocchi from scratch, pairing them with Asparagus Brown Butter, Pine Nuts and Herbs. Of course you’ll make a lovely salad to round out the menu. And our sweet finale is Torta Regina, an ethereal flourless chocolate with hazelnuts and a decadent chocolate sauce. Join us for a fun night of mixing, kneading, and rolling as we teach you the keys to success when making your own pasta from scratch!
