There are three priests who assist the Rector with the daily services (who should be approached for any issues of a spiritual nature):

Archpriest Peter Perekrestov - (415) 387-5164
Archpriest Sergei Kotar - (415) 751-4623

Deacons who participate in the daily services:
Archdeacon Ambrose (Taratuchin)
Deacon George Chrebtow

The following clergy are also assigned to the Cathedral:
Archpriest Mark Gomez
Protodeacon Nikolai Triantafillidis
Deacon Andrei Garine

Daily Services (non-Feast day): 8:00AM - Divine Liturgy and at 6:00PM evening services: Vespers/Matins. On Feast Days the Divine Liturgy may begin later or there could be two liturgies. Also, during Great Lent, there are special services with varying schedules. All these services are indicated in the monthly schedule located here on our site or on a printout which can be obtained at the Candle Stand.

A moleben or panihida may be served by making prior arrangements with the priests.

According to Church rules, confession for faithful who wish to receive the Holy Gifts must be heard the night before they wish to commune. Typically, confession is conducted during the evening services.

For any needs such as baptisms, weddings, funerals, visitation of the sick at home or at a hospital, molebens, panihidas, blessing of a house or car, etc., please contact the Cathedral Clergy directly.

The official Parish newsletter "The Messenger" is published once a month.

The operation of the Cathedral is administered through the Parish Council and responsibility of day-to-day operations falls on our Cathedral Warden ("Starosta") - Nick Buick. For any issues of an operational nature please refer to Mr. Buick. He can be contacted at  [email protected]

 .

The Parish Council is selected at the Annual General Meeting of the Parish which is usually held in the spring. At this meeting,  various other pertinent operational and financial issues of the Cathedral are decided. A Revisionary Commission audits all finances of the Cathedral.

All faithful who regularly attend the Cathedral are invited to become acting members of the Parish, which gives them the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting of the Parish or to be selected for any of the positions on the Parish Council.
