What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking in the area is very limited – generally to 2-hour street parking only, so we recommend carpooling and public transportation if possible. The Haas-Lilienthal House does not have public parking space. If you do drive in, there's a parking lot nearby on Jackson Street between Van Ness and Polk Street. (2 blocks away). Also, we are located 1-2 blocks from a Muni stop. The closest stops are at Jackson and Van Ness (47, 49,) and at Franklin and Clay or Sacramento (1).
Visit the “Trip Planner” of the https://www.sfmuni.com website for help planning your trip!
BUS: We are near Muni bus lines: 1, 12, 19, 27, 47 & 49.
BART: If you are taking BART, exit at the Civic Center station and either take a cab to Haas-Lilienthal, or walk down Grove or McAllister through the Civic Center area to Van Ness Avenue, and catch virtually any northbound bus (the near side of the street as you reach Van Ness.) Get off at Jackson, and walk one block west to Franklin – the HLH will be in the middle of the block on the west side.
CABLE CAR: We are 4 blocks from the end of the California Street Cable Car line, at California & Van Ness. If you take BART from the East Bay, gey off at the Embarcadero BART station and hop onto the Cable Car at Drumm & California Streets. This line ends at Van Ness. From the end of the line, walk 1 block west, and 3 blocks north (1 block uphill, the rest is pretty flat).
Is my registration/ticket transferrable to another date or timeslot?
Due to limited seating and table arrangements per slot, tickets are generally non-transferrable but will be assessed on a case-per-case basis. Our maximum capacity for this event is 50. Please contact Terri Le (415.441.3000 ex22 or [email protected]) to determine if space is available for a different day and/or time slot.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, your general information can be updated (i.e. name, email, phone number, etc.).
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We encourage you to have a printed ticket or mobile ticket ready. There will be a registration list available at the door to check-in guests.
What is your refund policy?
Thank you for your interest and support in this worthy cause! In case you are unable to attend, please notify Terri Le (415.441.3000 ex22 or [email protected]) no less than 24 hours in advance of the event date, for a full refund.
Our apologies, but we will not be able to issue a refund within 24 hours of the event start date, the day of the event, after the event date has passed or for an absence due to transportation problems, illness, weather, shark attack or any other circumstances beyond our control, and/or ability to verify.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
If you need to change the name on the ticket or registration, please notify Terri Le (415.441.3000 ex22 or [email protected]).
