On November 7 at 4 pm, environmental nonprofit Acterra is hosting "Holiday reFresh," a free event about cooking for climate. The guest chefs are six Bay Area notables who will demonstrate their holiday favorites - all plant-based. Learn some tips and tricks to make choosing healthier plant-forward menus a little easier this holiday season.
Featuring chefs Crystal Wahpepah (Wahpepah's Kitchen in Oakland), Martin Yan, Fetlework Tefferi (Café Colucci and Brundo Spice Company), Kenny Annis (Sky Cafe in South San Francisco), Shruti Boddu (Shru's Kitchen in San Mateo), and Alicia Casas (Jaguar Baker in the South Bay), plus food authors/influencers Liren Baker (Kitchen Confidante) and Carolyn Jung (Food Gal).
