Hilleman Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The 20th century was a dangerous time to be young: a multitude of diseases too often kept children from reaching even their teenage years. This documentary tells the inspiring story of Dr. Maurice Hilleman, a man with a singular, unwavering focus: to eliminate the diseases of children. Responsible for more than half of the vaccines children receive today, he is credited with saving more than eight million lives every year.
UC Hastings College of the Law’s Health Consortium and the San Francisco Immunization Coalition are partnering to bring you this powerful documentary. Join us for the film and a panel discussion to follow.
