Hike: Presidio Cliffs through Sea Cliff—49 Mile Drive Author Walk

JOIN THE AUTHORS of the SF Guide, Walking San Francisco's 49 Mile Scenic Drive, for a 2.9-mile hike along a gorgeous section of the 49 Mile Scenic Drive:
Walk #5 (of 17 Walks): Presidio Cliffs—Baker Beach—Sea Cliff—Legion of Honor
It doesn't get much prettier than this! Come walk off those Thanksgiving calories on a beautiful cliffside, ocean view, mansion gazing meander along the edge of the golden gateway into the Bay.
Then, if you really ate too much pie, burn it off by joining us on a 3-mile return along a stairmaster-intensity-level hike up-and-down the beach stairs along the Presidio Coastal bluffs back up to GG bridge! whew! (or not, it's up to you)
For 80 years SF's 49 Mile Scenic Drive has directed tourists and locals alike around the Best of SF—and outerlying areas. Now it's SF's new walking adventure. Come join the fun—WALK the Drive.
Walk #5 takes us from the Golden Gate Bridge through the Presidio, along Lincoln, with a dip over to Baker Beach, along the Sea Cliff homes into Lincoln Park up to the Legion of Honor. With Ansel Adams' house, Battery Chamberlain , and ocean views all along the way.
As we walk by it all, the authors will share a few tidbits of the most-likely-true history and fun factoids we discovered while researching the guidebook.
