SEE EVENT DETAILS
HEALING IN VR
Please join us for an evening panel on healing with Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality has been proven to help with vision problems, mental health issues, burn victims, pain management, stroke recovery, physical therapy, dementia and more. People are currently exploring and pushing the boundaries of traditional medical solutions. Is this alternative or fringe medicine, or is it the wave of the future?
This panel will discuss the moment they realized virtual reality was a healing medium. The aha moment in which they were compelled to try and help other people with what they discovered. We will discuss how to prove virtual reality is healing and will explore what it takes to go about bringing healing with virtual reality solution to market. The panel will include a member from the health insurance side of things to talk about what it looks like to consider virtual reality in billing and pilot programs at hospitals.
Why does virtual reality heal? Is it just that it is currently novel and simply a distraction? Or does Virtual Reality provide rich unforeseen opportunities for health the body and mind.
There will be virtual many reality demos for healing with virtual reality on the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Gear VR, Leap Motion, the omni and more.
