Palo Alto-based company Slice (www.slice.com) is hosting a free happy hour and reading at Green Apple Books in San Francisco featuring three female Bay Area authors, including recent Oprah.com Book of the Week winner Yangsze Choo, author of The Ghost Bride.

Join us for refreshments, giveaways and readings to celebrate three award-winning local authors and our new Bookshelf site!

- 6:45 - 7:00: Reading by Helen Sedwick, Coyote Winds (A historical fiction novel about thirteen-year-old Myles who brings home a half-blinded coyote pup in the years just before the Dust Bowl.)
- 7:30 - 7:45: Reading by Joelle Fraser, The Forest House (A moving memoir about love, loss and starting over, set in northern California.)
