The social sector is full of ups – and downs. Nothing is more rewarding than making a difference, but it can be overwhelming sometimes with fundraising pressures, limited resources, and burdensome workloads.
Knowing your strengths and how to deploy them will put you in a position to make every work experience a positive one. In this session you will explore your top five natural strengths and the appreciative inquiry method, as well as learn how to deploy them to create a more positive work experience. You will set a professional development goal that you can implement as soon as get back to the office!
Learning outcomes:
Identify and explore the top 5 natural strengths you bring to work with you every day, and how to deploy them to create a more positive work experience for yourself and others
Identify the 4 major areas where employees must be satisfied in order to be positively engaged at work
Explore the appreciative inquiry method and the “judger-observer-learner” dynamic to create a more positive work environment
Set a professional development goal that you can implement immediately
