Hand Built! Free Family Clay Workshop

SEE EVENT DETAILS
We know the world of ceramics is so much bigger than pottery...but if not on a potter's wheel, how DO we make art from a shapeless lump of clay? Artist and art educator Larry Stefl will teach us basic ceramic construction techniques- the building blocks of all hand-built clay. Join us in Berkeley Art Center's sculpture patio to be inspired by the resident works of Harold Paris, Stephen deStaebler and Peter Voulkos.

Participants will make a piece with air-dry clay to take home.

Suitable for all ages, free and open to the public.
