Happening next Saturday on December 11th from 11am-8pm at the growing urban oasis of Kapwa Gardens, the crawl-type event "Halo-Halo Holiday Market" will spotlight several local Filipinx-owned retail and food vendors. In addition to vendors, a traditional Filipino lantern festival will take place in which everyone is welcome to participate or simply enjoy the performance.
Starting from the main venue at Kapwa Gardens, the event will sprawl out into 4 other locations across Mission St., including the bar Executive Order and the Yerba Buena Center for Arts. Enjoy many local food trucks at Kapwa Gardens such as Buko Bakes and Barya Kitchen that will provide Filipino delicacies to enjoy during the winter cold. After enjoying signature Filipino dishes, explore the other venues to do your holiday shopping at small businesses like Kalingafornia-laga and Habiness SF that will be showcasing their unique handcrafted pieces of fashion, art, and jewelry.
