Workshops - Day 1
How to Build Habit-Forming Products:Â In an age of ever-increasing distractions, quickly creating customer habits is an important characteristic of successful products. How do companies create products people use every day? What are the secrets of building services customers love? How can designers create products compelling enough to "hook" users? Nir Eyal, the bestselling author of "Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products", has constructed a framework for designing better products and will share his years of research in this practical workshop. This hands-on class gives product managers, designers, and marketers a new way for thinking of the necessary components of changing user behavior by studying how the world's most engaging products keep users coming back again and again.
Design for Engagement: How To Design So People Take Action:Â Does your website, software, or app engage your audience? Does it persuade people to take action? Is it so engaging that they want to come back and use it? In this workshop The Team W shares recent research in brain and behavioral science that provides insights into how people think, how people decide, and what motivates people. You will learn how to apply this science to the design of your product so that your audiences will be engaged and motivated to take action.
