Family Fun Day event, taking place on June 10th at Lake Merritt's Astro Park in Oakland, California, from 11am to 7pm. The event is FREE and promises to be a thrilling and enjoyable day filled with lots of fun activities, performances, and community resources for families.
H.U.M.A.N. is Healing Urban Men Across the Nation! And the H.U.M.A.N. Family Fun Day is the second annual event focused on casting a healing light on the marginalization of fathers while providing access to solution-based resources, training, and support. Decades of separation or exclusion from the family dynamic have contributed to many of the social ills affecting our communities, especially those of color.
On June 10, 2023, Man 2 Man will impact over 500 children and their fathers by providing a fun-filled day of entertainment, music, games, competitions, and community resource access, including a Healthy Families Healthcare Pavilion. We are including our own Oakland Super Stars, role models, Oakland Parks and Recreation, Oakland Police Department, Oakland Fire Department, Alameda County Public Health Department, Cypress Mandela Training Center, BOSS, 100 Black Men, Keldamuzik, and local politicians to celebrate and heal everyday fathers and families. Man 2 Man is Healing Urban Men Across the Nation!
On the entertainment side, the H.U.M.A.N. Family Fun Day will be powered by some of the Bay Area's most talented and renowned performers in the industry. Keldamuzik, J Red comedy, Ms. White, Binobaby, and many more will be on stage to entertain everyone in attendance. From music, comedy, to dance performances, the event promises to be a captivating and entertaining one.
The performances are just the beginning of all that H.U.M.A.N. Family Fun Day will provide. There will be a range of other exciting and fun activities for attendees to enjoy, including bounce houses, a domino tournament, games, face painting, arts and crafts, and more.
