Bay Area dog lovers, kids, Kleenex, and cameras are welcome every other Saturday at Guide Dogs for the Blind’s heartwarming public graduation ceremonies at the organization’s campus in San Rafael. These public events honor the independence and companionship that GDB’s exceptional guide dogs provide for the people they will serve, but they also allow GDB clients to meet the committed puppy raisers who cared for their canine heroes until they were old enough to begin formal training at the campus. Graduation day public tours of the campus are offered at 10:30 a.m. or noon on the days of the ceremonies. Pre-registered large tour groups are also welcome.
