Small space, big potential - begin the new year by cultivating your own edible kitchen garden! From perennial herbs, to microgreens, to a variety of veggies, growing even a single edible plant can inspire our meals and snacks, and create a meaningful connection to the food we eat. Instructors Carey Craddock and Jordan Kushins will share what plants do well in indoor and outdoor containers; teach seasonal planting tips; troubleshoot common problems; and offer creative ideas for your harvest. Everyone will get their hands dirty, sowing seeds and propagating cuttings to take home.
Registration includes all materials.
This is part one of a four-part Grow + Make series led by Carey and Jordan this year. They are standalone sessions, but each will build on the last for repeat attendees. Stay tuned for upcoming classes!
