Greater than the Sum of Its Parts: Designing Your Team

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Almost all of us work with teams, and therefore almost all of us know that the experience can be as difficult as it is rewarding. Social entrepreneurs may find unique challenges within their organizations because of the heart we put into our work; not everyone sees eye-to-eye on the solutions we're building, and finding the right partners for success isn't easy.

In this practical talk by Naomi Baer, advisor to social impact organizations, you'll hear an assortment of advice for designing your teams so that your combined effort is indeed "greater than the sum of its parts."

Learn about how to build an effective team for your social start-up, whether you're looking for a co-founder or planning for new hires
Design the relationships you want with your co-founders and team members
Get team members up to speed quickly, and lay the groundwork for a highly engaged, high performance culture

These skills can be applied to other areas of our lives, and this information is sure to be helpful in a variety of contexts.

We are delighted to present to our community a speaker with such deep roots in the social impact space, and to learn from her valuable experience leading and building many teams. We look forward to you being there with us!
