A kind note from Dj Dials and Gray Area:
We are thrilled to share that one of our favorite artists, Nicolas Jaar, will be joining us in San Francisco for a 90 minute DJ set on October 15th. The event will not be hosted at Gray Area but will be at a secret downtown location that will be released to ticket holders. Over the past couple of years, he has toured the world with his Darkside project to completely sold out audiences. Vice Magazine recently reviewed Nicolas Jaar's set at FYF fest in Los Angeles, 'by far, the best thing all weekend.. When Jaar finally dropped into his set, he repeatedly worked old soul and motown samples into pounding, minimal techno beats, all drawn together in a narrative patchwork that read more like a study of sound than a club set... Nicolas Jaar is forging a totally new way to experience dance music."
