Celebrate San Francisco’s favorite holiday in twisted Mission District-style at Grand Guignol. Carl Grose’s demented psycho-comedy-thriller, directed by equally demented Butcher Brother Mitchell Altieri, is sure to leave you in stitches – whether in the aisle or in the ER.
Going to the original Theatre du Grand Guignol was a frightful experience enhanced not only by the torment onstage but by the preshow experience of wandering the back-alleys of bohemian Montmartre on the way to the theatre. What we lack in back-alleys we make up for in other ways – part of attending the San Francisco Grand Guignol is the pre-show experience and our exclusive events.
Join us nightly in the Absinthe Garden - or at your exclusive Shock Box table - one hour prior to curtain for champagne, wine, a signature Grand Guignol cocktail, and some tasty French street fare courtesy of Creperie Saint Germaine.
Champagne, wine, signature cocktails, and the Creperie Saint Germaine pre-show buffet are available for purchase for most seating tiers and are included in our exclusive, luxury Shock Box ticket packages.
Special Grand Guignol events include the Halloween post-show Basqued Ball on Thursday, 31 October across the street from the theatre at Cana Café SF. Entry is included with Shock Box packages and available for a door charge with all other seating tiers. 8 PM- 2 AM
Join us Sunday, 3 November, at 1 PM for the Bloody Marie pre-show Brunch.
