Join Good Ol’ Girls and The New Parkway Theater on Tuesday, June 13th for a screening of 'Frame by Frame,' winner of the 2015 Ashland Independent Film Festival “Rogue Creamery Audience Award,” the 2015 Brooklyn Film Festival Audience Award and Spirit Award, and the 2015 Nashville Film Festival Grand Jury Prize. The film also premiered at this year's SXSW International Film Festival.
Under the oppressive Taliban regime, photography was banned. Frame by Frame follows four Afghani photojournalists on their journey to rebuild the free press in the wake of the fall of the Taliban regime. Directed by Alexandria Bombach and Mo Scarpelli, the film illustrates the unwavering commitment of journalists to continue to seek the truth.
