Glendronach Single Malt and Cheese: A Guided Pairing with Brand Ambassador Rory Glasgow
WHAT: Join us for an evening of Scotch and Cheese as we sample through five expressions form the GlenDronach Distillery and pair them with various international and domestic cheeses. Led by Brand Ambassador Rory Glasgow, we will guide you through each pairing and dive into the history and production of this classic Highland distillery. The GlenDronach is renowned the world over by Scotch connoisseurs for its sherry cask maturation providing the whiskey with bountiful flavours of rich dark chocolate, dried fruits, and confectionary notes. It is also one of just a handful of distilleries operated by a female master blender. Rachel Barrie is the Master Blender for The Glendronach, The Benriach, and Glenglassaugh Single Malt Scotch Distilleries and is the first female Master Blender inducted into Whiskey Magazines Hall of Fame. The event is for everyone interested in Scotch Whiskey, from veteran connoisseurs to absolute beginners, and will include a Scotch 101 portion to provide an introduction to the category fo Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
WHEN: Friday, November 15, 2019, 8pm-10pm (Come to the bar early, have a beer and relax until we start. You will be called in when we are ready.)
