Girl Up’s STEM for Social Good Tour is coming to San Francisco! This FREE two-day event will bring together activities from the Girl Up STEM for Social Good toolkit, #GIRLHERO panelists, and opportunities to develop STEM-centered solutions for your community. On Saturday, participate in a STEM for Social Good Bootcamp to hone your skills with your fellow Girl Up leaders and on Sunday, at the #GIRLHERO Solution Lab, put your new skills into action! At the Solution Lab, pitch your STEM for Social Good innovations for the chance to win up to $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second place, and $500 for third place to implement your projects in your community.
Register now for the Bootcamp and Solution Lab. Programming will be from 10am-3pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. The event venue will be announced soon. This event is for students currently in grades 8-12. This event is made possible through the support of BNY Mellon and the TE Foundation.
