SEE EVENT DETAILS
GLIDE Church is pleased to present the inaugural Gender Identity and Expression Summit sponsored by the GLIDE PRIDE Team, Friday, May 5 to Sunday, May 7. The kick-off event and three-day summit will take place at GLIDE (330 Ellis Street @ Taylor, San Francisco) and include a movie screening, speeches, panel discussions, an art exhibit, and Sunday Celebrations that will help deepen an understanding of issues related to transgender and gender-expansive people, foster empowerment and solidarity with and among people of faith, and provide a space for people to discuss issues of spirituality and gender expression and identity.

“In a time when the marginalized are feeling more vulnerable to hate and fear, GLIDE stands committed, as it has for over 50 years, to unconditional love and acceptance,” said GLIDE co-founder, Janice Mirikitani.

For more than five decades, GLIDE Church has stood with people who face discrimination and marginalization,” said Bishop Warner H.
