Gather Marks Fifth Year Anniversary with Special Dinner
Gather Restaurant in Berkeley will mark their fifth year anniversary with special a la carte dinner menu items to be served on Monday, December 15 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. All guests will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.
Among the specials to be prepared by Executive Chef Charis Wahl will be small plates such as Smoked Bean Ragout with crispy Brussels sprouts, pickled peppers and mint; and Devil’s Gulch Pork Meatballs with green tomatoes, masa purée and spicy fermented cabbage; and large plates including a Grilled Pork Chop with red flint polenta, braised greens, cipollini and dry fig agrodolce; and Celery Root Steak with kamut, chimichurri and crispy onions.
Also offered will be retrospective popular house cocktails from the previous five years including the Bee Sting, Victory & Brightness, Mirage, and Chupacabra.
Acclaimed by customers and critics for its appeal to omnivores and vegetarians alike, Gather has been designated a Michelin Bib Gourmand, named a Best New Restaurant in America by Esquire Magazine, and voted a Best California Restaurant in the Bay Area in the San Francisco Chronicle.
