FAQs
1. Do I need a medical marijuana card and is cannabis provided?
Medical cards are not required since Prop 64, however, since it passed, we've had to become a "BYO" event." Adults are legally allowed to share, and there's always plenty to go around.

2. Do I have to use cannabis at Ganja Yoga?
Yoga is great, enhanced or not. Sometimes students enjoy enhancing their practice with cannabis, at other times they prefer having a yoga practice without cannabis. Some people have a CBD only practice. It's always up to you.

3. What do I need to bring?
Bring a yoga mat, props if you need or enjoy them (2 blocks, strap) and water bottle. If you don't have a yoga mat you can rent one at the front desk for $2.

4. How much cannabis should I consume for this practice?
First-timers to Ganja Yoga or yoga in general might want to start slow and consume less cannabis than they usually do. See how you feel first, you can always consume a little more later or in your next class. Some people with higher tolerance levels might smoke more. Everyone's relationship to cannabis is different. Be mindful of your body, intention and usage.

5. Is this practice safe? What if I haven't done yoga before?
Yes, this is an all-levels gentle slow flow yoga class, oriented towards mindful awareness and relaxation. Javiera teaches yoga from a trauma-informed perspective. If you are new to yoga, we invite you to take it slow and be mindful of your body. If you have any concerns please reach out before class.

6. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Mission Yoga is just a few minutes walk from BART and other public transportation options. If you drive yourself to the event, a Designated Driver is Required. If you do not have a DD, please schedule a cab / rideshare.
