Tis the season for giving! Please join us at Modernist for a Q&A with Burma Superstar owner, Desmond Tan, on his journey from Burma to San Francisco and how it has inspired the culture of giving back at Burma Superstar. We'll be hosting a silent auction. Prizes include vintage bottles of Chateau Montelena from the 1980s, a Burma Superstar cooking workshop dinner for two, and a GRAND PRIZE trip of a lifetime to explore Burma with the Superstar team! The event is free and open to the public. RSVP/tickets are available on Evite. See event for further details. We hope to see you there.
Future Superstars was established by Burma Inc, home of Burma Superstar Restaurants and Burma Love Foods Company, as a way to encourage leadership and growth in the community. Future Superstars seeks to provide scholarships and educational/mentorship resources to low-income youth with the aim of developing them into future superstars. Donors in the past have included community leaders, the Golden State Warriors, and UberEats.
