What: Furlough Fest at Fisherman's Wharf is a day of free food and fun activities for furloughed employees of the federal government and their families.
Description: Furloughed employees of the federal government are invited to come to the Fisherman’s Wharf district with their families on Wednesday, January 30. The restaurants, attractions, and activities of the neighborhood have rallied together to offer a day of free fun. Bring your federal employee ID and enjoy a day to eat and play in San Francisco’s historic waterfront district.
Please note, the offer is limited to families for four. If you have a larger family, the participating business may charge you for additional family members. Offers are while supplies last. Certain businesses will be limiting the number of free offers, so, to receive those offers, we recommend arriving early.
If the government shutdown ends this event may be canceled or augmented. In that event, an email will be sent out to those who have RSVPd.
