Created by the award-winning Video DJ Maculate in July 2020, Funklectic has been dropping eclectic filth every Friday for 150+ straight Fridays on Twitch with hundreds of the best DJs from across the world. At its core, Funklectic is all about dirty, funky bass music. At a typical Funklectic show, expect to hear Bass House, Drum and Bass, and Bass Funk interwoven with Hip Hop and Soul samples. Really anything that gets the dancefloor moving.
Funklectic's parties have featured heavyweights such as Krafty Kuts, A. Skillz, Stickybuds, Father Funk, The Nextmen, Fort Knox Five, The Allergies, Shaka Loves You, DJ Spinna, The Gaff, and many others. And now, for the first-ever Funklectic in San Francisco, we're bringing in one of the best DJs and producers in the world all the way from Canada: Slynk!
Slynk has brought the funk to hundreds of stages worldwide, including ten electrifying performances at Canada's legendary Shambhala Music Festival. Slynk's motto is simple: only play music that makes you smile, and for him, that means it's got to be funky.
Joining Slynk on the lineup are Funklectic's creator, Maculate, and All Good Funk Alliance. Maculate will be playing a special audio-visual set featuring all original music videos he has created, sampling the best in Cinema, Television, and Animation.
All Good Funk Alliance are pioneers of the Nu-Funk and mid-tempo breaks sounds, bringing the best funky vibes to clubs and festivals worldwide, even opening for the Godfather of Soul himself, James Brown!
Last but not least, four local legends from the Space Cowboys will be rounding out the lineup: j9 the Angel, Rumblemunk, sh00ey and 8-Ball. More DJs to be announced soon.
