Rise to Justice is a pop-up bake sale in SF who fundraise for different local organizations. We were inspired by friends in Portland, Oregon (Sweet Justice) who have come together because of their passion for baking and social justice. All baked goods are donated by volunteers and all bake sales are run by volunteers.
So come and enjoy homemade cakes, pies, cookies, donuts, cupcakes, and more created by local volunteers from Rise to Justice and baker Cat Vo Bakes. All proceeds go directly to The Women’s Building. Some services and programs they offer for women and their families are job search assistance, a food pantry for immigrants, financial management assistance, public benefits, legal assistance, and so much more.
The Women's Building is a women-led non-profit arts and education community center located in San Francisco which advocates self- determination, gender equality and social justice. It also houses other non- profit organizations that focus on improving the lives of women, girls, and families such as CROC, Lava Mae, ICWC, and many others.
