Fun Run Series with Veterans in the Presidio (3-5 Miles)

Take a 3-5 mile fun run through the Presidio Loop with a new generation of Bay Area veterans, and honor service, resilience, and health while preparing for the upcoming San Francisco Giant Race taking place on Sunday, August 27, 2017. At each run, attendees will learn about an aspect of the park’s military and cultural history. This run honors members of the Echo Company 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines. All fun runs end with drinks, snack, a raffle, and the chance to socialize with other runners and hear about a local veterans organization. Beverages and snacks provided by Sports Basement. Our fun-run series is co-hosted by Presidio Sports Basement, Giants Enterprises, and the Presidio Trust with support from Team Red, White, and Blue (RWB).
