French 79 is the solo project of electronic music producer Simon Henner. He's been an active contributor to the French dance scene for over a decade, with work as a DJ and remix artist and as a member of groups like Nasser and Husbands. After sharing his first project as French 79 with the Angel EP in 2014, Henner unleashed his debut solo album, Olympic, in 2016. His 2019 full-length, follow-up Joshua featured Henner's first appearance on lead vocals. Building on the international hype from several key syncs in Season 1 of the Netflix series Emily in Paris, 2023's Teenagers cemented French 79 as one of France's finest electronic music exports.
