Skylawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park in San Mateo is hosting a free "Writing to Heal" workshop on Saturday, Oct. 26 (10am to 4pm) led by award-winning author, Diana Raab. Ages 18 and above are welcome beginning at 10 a.m. Raab will introduce writing for healing through a series of written exercises and discussion. A free catered lunch will be followed by an afternoon writing session. The day will close with a 'Burning Bowl Ceremony' as a ritual of release for those who choose. Sign up is required.
