Free Saturdays: A Conversation, Spoken Word Performance, and Film Screening

Sit down with the first woman to join the Black Panthers, Tarika Lewis and award-winning poet and educator, Tureeda Mikell, for a conversation on their shared stories with art, activism, and a life-long friendship. Stay after the talk for a screening of "All Power to the People: Black Panthers at 50" plus a spoken word and violin performance by Lewis and Mikell.

This event will be held in Koret Auditorium.

This program is part of our Free Saturdays celebration of the exhibition, "Soul of a Nation".
