Free Environmental Film Night: The Bilby Brothers

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Varnish Fine Art Studio (see times)
Can Easter Chocolates (and 2 blokes) Save an Endangered Species from Extinction?
They did. "The Bilby Brothers: The Men Who Killed the Easter Bunny" is a charming award-winning film from Australia about an endangered rabbit-eared marsupial called the bilby, and the 'sweet' idea devised by a ranger and a biologist to help raise money for a bilby sanctuary, and single-handedly turned the tables on an almost extinct species. Their 'sweet idea' got the whole country involved. Now chocolate Easter Bilbies outsell Easter Bunnies by 8-1! Their work is a phenominal example of how one person CAN make a difference. Commencing at 7:00pm for socializing, gallery viewing, then film.

Green Planet Films is a non-profit distributor of nature and environmental DVDs from around the globe. We seek to preserve & protect our planet by collecting & distributing documentaries from our web-based library which can be used to educate the public about the science, beauty, and fragility of the natural world.
