The lessons consist of sequences of mindful movement exploration, which aims to rewire the brain to change the habitual neurological patterns of movements.These lessons were developed by Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais, an lsraeli scientist and one of the first Judo black belts in Europe. In accordance with the latest scientific research on brain neuroplasticity, the Feldenkrais Method uses our proprioception, sensory feedback and movements to change our neurological patterns. The practice can help to manage chronic pain, improve function in a variety of activities and elevate mood.

The Feldenkrais Center is conveniently located in the Glen Park area near several Muni lines: J Church, 14, 24 and 49.
Most movements are done lying on the floor. Please wear comfortable street clothes that do not restrict movement and arrive at least 10 minutes before class.
