Livermore Valley Opera in partnership with Las Positas College Foundation presents a special winter benefit event featuring award-winning international opera star Frederica von Stade. Guests will enjoy an interview with Ms. von Stade, beautiful music, exceptional wines and Posada Restaurant's award winning hors d'oeuvres. Ms. von Stade, will perform and speak of her professional life experiences and involvement with the Young Musicians Choral Orchestra, members of which will perform as well. Following the performance, Ms. von Stade will be present for an audience reception that includes delectable cheeses and desserts. Cocktail attire is requested.
