Anchored in the heart of San Francisco’s #1 destination, namely Fisherman’s Wharf, the historic Red and White Fleet is featuring specialty viewing cruises for the City’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks show on the San Francisco Bay.
Every year, the city of San Francisco lights up the Bay with its 4th of July fireworks festivities. And, in celebration of the American holiday, Red and White Fleet welcomes celebrants to enjoy up close views of the patriotic entertainment as well as the city’s night time skyline from aboard one of four evening cruises.
Red and White Fleet’s historic ferry boats offer outdoor decks to view the fireworks, as well as indoor spaces to warm up and enjoy the full bar. After a short cruise towards the launch area of the fireworks, the cruise boats will be stationary to secure a good spot for viewing the show.
There will be a total of four departures available. The first two vessels will depart at 7:45pm and return to the dock at around 10:15pm, while the second set of vessels will depart at 8:15pm and return at around 10:30pm. Each cruise has an estimated sailing time of about 2 – 2 ½ hours.
While onboard, drinks and snacks can be purchased from the bar. This tour typically last for about 2 1/2 hours and returns to Pier 43 1/2 once the fireworks have finished. Both the 7:45pm and 8:15pm departures offer the same experience.
