What: As part of the Global Climate Action Summit, join us for a day of inspiration, lively discussion, discovery and entertainment that will elevate the importance of forests, food and land in the fight against climate change. Who: Forests, Food and Land Day at the Global Climate Action Summit will bring together farmers and ranchers, foresters, chefs, Indigenous Peoples, business leaders, elected officials, investors, artists, citizens and more who are working to fight climate change. Together, we will showcase our progress and ambition toward meeting the 30x30 Forests, Food and Land Challenge and the goals of the Paris Agreement. Why: How we use land for agriculture, forestry and other purposes has a greater impact on climate change than any other sector of the economy except energy—yet, land-related solutions receive less than 3% of climate funding. Working across all sectors of the economy to improve forest and habitat conservation, food production and consumption, and land use we can deliver up to 30% of the climate solutions needed by 2030.
Boxed lunches may be purchased in advance, but will not be available for purchase day-of. Coffee will be available in the morning.
