The Foothill College Environmental Horticulture & Design Program presents its Annual Spring Plant Sale Saturday, April 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the college's horticulture facilities adjacent to Lot 8 at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills. Admission is free; required parking permit is $3.


Featuring heirloom tomato plants and herbs, along with bamboo, succulents, cacti, grasses, ornamental and fruit trees, shrubs, perennials, water-wise plants and more.
This year, the Northern California Chapter of the American Bamboo Society will also attend the college's plant sale to sell and auction rare and exotic bamboos. Some of these bamboos are recent introductions into the United States and have not been generally available. Clumping and running bamboos from Central and South America, the Himalayas, Southeast Asia, China, and Japan will be offered at the Foothill event.Â
Foothill sale items for sale are first come, first served. Payment must be cash or check; no credit cards. Bring bags or boxes to transport purchases.
