Students from the Foothill College dental hygiene program have organized the fourth annual fundraiser walk for oral cancer research and awareness on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to noon on the rubberized track at the Foothill College Stadium in Los Altos Hills. Walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to register for the event and participate. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to support the prevention, education and advocacy work of the Oral Cancer Foundation.
Drop in for a few laps or stay for the whole walk. Each lap is one-quarter mile. Refreshments and prizes will be provided to all registered participants.
Online entry fees are $25, adults; $15, students; and $10 for children under age 12. If you're not able to participate in the April 11 event, you may still contribute.
