The Food Social team is extremely excited to announce that we’ve reached the two-year milestone. In celebration of our second birthday we are throwing 2 very special events.
Starting with a celebration to cure that island fever, we’re marking the map in Alameda for the very first time. We’re mixing it up bringing you an ALL AGES Food Social experience featuring some of the Bay Area’s best food, clothing and accessory brands, artist showcases, and interactive festivities!
On Saturday, October 5th from 3pm-9pm join us at Alameda’s waterfront venue, the Dragon Rouge, 2337 Blanding Avenue. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, not only are we able to make this event FREE admission but also attendees will also enjoy a FREE frozen treat from our surprise guest.
With mouth-watering eats by MiLo SiX Sweet Treats, Ippo Ramen, BBQ@Lux, Dragon Rouge, Sticks Gourmet Corndogs and Licensed 2 Grill . Shop exclusive goods available from District, Del Heiro, Juan’s Barber Shop and HellaThrifty.
You can spend the afternoon learning to roll the perfect Vietnamese spring roll with Dragon Rouge chef and owner Dan Nguyen or unleash your creative side and join award-winning Alameda artist extraordinaire, Justin Pastores, for a live watercolor demo and art showcase. If you don’t feel like being interactive, just dance the afternoon away to music provided by Skech, Chauee and Sauro as they provide the tunes for this very special event.
