Join us for the "Food for Thought" film series!

July 9th - Aptos Branch Library - 7pm-9pm - "King Corn" - A feature documentary about two friends, one acre of corn, and the subsidized crop that drives our fast-food nation. Ages 12 and up.

July 13th - Scotts Valley Branch Library - 3pm-4:30pm - "Queen of the Sun: What Are the Bees Telling Us?" - A profound, alternative look at the global bee crisis. Ages 5 and up.

July 27th - Aptos Branch Library - 3pm-5pm - "The Corporation" - The documentary examines the modern-day corporation, considering its legal status as a class of person and evaluating its behaviour towards society and the world at large as a psychiatrist might evaluate an ordinary person. Ages 12 and up.
