California has recently updated their seed laws to allow for Cannabis seeds, those legally classified as hemp, to be sold at regular retail nurseries in the state. As of today, Berkley Horticulture and Flowerland nursery are carrying out seeds, and have already hosted Cannabis gardening workshops with our collaborator, Penny Barthel. We are now scheduling additional workshops, and will continue to parter with local nurseries and expand in the coming months.
