In partnership with California State Parks, MendoParks, Save the Redwoods League, and First 5 Mendocino, join us for a guided family hike into the redwoods! The hike is approximately two miles roundtrip down into a canyon, where participants will enjoy a picnic lunch (provided) and nature journaling at the base of the Russian Gulch waterfall. Additional activities include Forest Bingo and using your senses for an immersive guided nature experience.
Who: up to 25 participants
When: Friday, June 13th, 2025
Where: North Boundary to East Falls Loop Trail (Horse Camp), Russian Gulch State Park
What to bring: Good walking shoes, layers, and a water bottle. A bag lunch will be provided; please inform us of any food allergies/preferences.
Meet at the intersection of the horse camp on road 409 off Hwy 1, north of the main park entrance. Parking is available on the side of the dirt road, free of charge. and we will have a tent for check-in.
