At 7:00 PM, on Monday February 17, 2014 at the Live Oak Senior Center, 1777 Capitola Road, Santa Cruz, the Monterey Bay Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society will feature a program by ISA Certified Arborist Terence Welch on how to take care of, grow, prune, and graft apple trees and other types of fruit trees, and other types of plants. Terrance Welsh, who lives in Santa Cruz County, manages, consults, and farms in various locations in Portola Valley, Watsonville, and San Juan Bautista. At our meeting do not be surprised if you learn from firsthand experience on how to graft a fruit tree.
There is no charge for admission, and refreshments will be served.
