Films in the Forest: Growing Up Weston

The Forest Theater Guild is proud to present another installment in their "Films in the Forest" series, this time with a screening of Growing Up Weston. This new documentary depicts three generations of the Westons - Kim Weston, grandson of Edward, son of Cole and nephew of Brett Weston - who were the first family of photography from California whose landmark work has been recognized internationally. Growing Up Weston gives audiences the opportunity to visit the lovingly preserved family home, and step into Edward’s darkroom, where Kim shows how his grandfather used only a contact printer, a light bulb and a kitchen timer to create his highly sought after masterpieces. Proceeds from this event will benfit the Weston Scholarship.
