Fiddler on the Roof

In conjunction with the Bay Area celebration of Fiddler at 50 (commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Broadway production), The Contemporary Jewish Museum screens the 1971 film version of Fiddler on the Roof, starring Israeli actor Chaim Topol as a Russian Jewish peasant struggling with the meaning of tradition (181 min).

Free matinee screenings are presented in conjunction with The Museum’s admission-free first Tuesdays of the month.
